Abbie L. Siegel, 94, of Upper Nazareth Twp, passed into the loving arms of her Savior on Saturday, October 5, 2019. She was the wife of the late Warren Siegel who died in 1987.

Abbie was born December 28, 1924 in Bushkill Twp, where she lived for 75 years of her life. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Esther Hariegle.

Abbie was a graduate of Nazareth High School and was employed as a presser at Lehigh Frocks. She was a member of the Bushkill Twp Volunteer Fire Co where she served as the first lady trustee for 11 ½ years, and had charge of the social hall for several years. She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary, having served in every office. Abbie was a member of the Bushkill Twp Ambulance Corp and Fire Police, receiving several awards for her service.

She was a lifelong member of Schoeneck Moravian Church where she taught Sunday school and in the past was active in several of the church's organizations.

Abbie is survived by three children, Carol Stellato of CA, Bruce Siegel Sr. and partner Cindy Hunter of Nazareth, and Harry Siegel Sr. and wife Grace of Whitehall; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, October 14 from 10 – 11 am in Schoeneck Moravian Church, 316 N. Broad St. Ext., Nazareth. Funeral services will begin at 11 am in the church. Abbie will be laid to rest in Plainfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Abbie's name may be offered to the church.
