Alberta A. Brown, 92, formerly of Tatamy, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Harley B. Brown who died April 30, 1996. BORN: December 22, 1921, in Plainfield Township, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Adele Luhrs Fulmer. PERSONAL: She worked from her home, selling Stanley products, Avon and jewelry. Alberta was a loving, caring mother and grandmother. MEMBERSHIPS: She was a member of Forks United Church of Christ in Stockertown. SURVIVORS: Alberta is survived by two sons, Harley and his wife Brenda of Bethlehem, and Hale and his wife Vickie of Easton; two daughters, June Clark and her husband Bruce of Luray, VA, and Victoria Nave and her husband Ron of Horsham; one brother, Robert H. Fulmer and his wife Ruth of Plainfield Township; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter, one sister, three brothers, one granddaughter, and one great-grandson. SERVICES: A viewing will be held on Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m., in the Forks United Church of Christ, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown. Burial will follow in Forks Cemetery. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the church.
