Alexander N. Surch, 62, of Stockertown, passed away unexpectedly Monday February 18, 2013 at his residence. Born May 3, 1950 in Easton, he was a son of the late Alexander Sr. and Isabella Brewer Surch. Alexander worked as an electronics technician for Bear Automotive in Bangor before retiring. Earlier in life he was employed at S and I Handling in Forks Township. He was a graduate of Nazareth High School. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his bike, collecting antique bicycles and radio equipment and operating both his shortwave and ham radio. He was a member of the Easton YMCA. Alexander leaves behind his brother Gary and wife Susan of Tatamy, nephew Gary II and wife Laura, niece Stephanie and great nephew Cayden. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday at 11 am in Forks Cemetery, Sullivan Trail, Forks Township with Reverend Curtis Kemmerer presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alexander's name may be offered to the charity of one's choice.
