Alice Rudy Hoelzel died September 5, 2021 at Valley Manor in Coopersburg, PA.  Born in Pen Argyl, she was the daughter of the late Rudy and Mary Dovyak Hoelzel. Her family owned and operated the former Hoelzel Service Station in Wind Gap prior to their retirement.  Alice lived in Wind Gap with her parents until she attended Tusculum University, in Tusculum, Tennessee where she graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration.  She retired from the Human Resources Department at JC Penny.  She volunteered as a Tax Aide for AARP in Coopersburg and in her spare time, enjoyed Egyptian Art and History.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, at 10:30 am in Wind Gap Cemetery, Plainfield Township where Alice will be laid to rest at the family gravesite with her father, mother and grandmother. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap.
