Alice I. Morris, 87, of Nazareth, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Donald Morris; together they shared 57 years of marriage until his death on November 5, 2005. Born April 28, 1928 in Lower Nazareth Township, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Edna Andrews Rohrbach. Alice graduated from Nazareth High School with the Class of 1946. She and her husband married in 1947, and she devoted her time to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and sister-in-law. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family. Over the years, she was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth. Alice is survived by her loving children, Barry Morris and his wife Lois, Eileen Lieberman and her husband Barry, and Lynn Morris and his wife Denise. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Gregory, Scott, Molly, Heather, Luke and Lyndsey; six great-grandchildren, Kyle, Veronica, Mackenzie, Amber, Robert and Cassidy; two sisters, Verna Huth and Frances Lichtenwalner and her husband Clarence; sisters-in-law, Ann, wife of her late brother Claude Rohrbach, Myrtle Morris and Janet Wetzel. In addition to her husband, parents and brother, she was also predeceased by a brother and sister in infancy. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 27, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St, Nazareth, and on Tuesday, July 28, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 South Broad St, Nazareth. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church with the Rev. David B. Schaeffer presiding. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alice's memory may be offered to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church at the above address.
