ALTHEA LAUBACH Althea Laubach, 90, formerly of Plainfield Township passed away early Friday morning September 13, 2013 in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. BORN: July 28, 1923 in Belfast, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Laura Frutchey Peters. Althea was the wife of Karl L. Laubach who passed away in 2001. PERSONAL: She graduated from Nazareth High School and worked at several blouse mills in the area, retiring from Valerie Fashions after 20 years of service. Althea was a talented seamstress and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends in the traditional "Pennsylvania Dutch" style. Memberships: Althea was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Belfast. SURVIVORS: She is survived by one son, Reverend Craig D, Laubach and his wife Debra of Belfast, one daughter Robin Huff and her fiancee Terry Trexler of Allentown, Grandchildren Ian Huff, Skyler Huff, Amy Cerminaro, Jayme Morcombe and Julie Fisher. Great grandchildren Luke, Jackson and Zoe Cerminaro, Allyson and Faith Morcombe, and Jacob and Kaitlyn Fisher. She was predeceased by her twin sister Dorothea in infancy, daughter Kathy, sister Carol Post and brother Homer Peters SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St. Nazareth with the Reverend Mark Moore presiding.
