America "Rick" Treglia, 91, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 in Gracedale. BORN: February 14, 1921, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Louis and Frances Treglia. He and his wife, the former Filomena Tusi, were married for 45 years. PERSONAL: America honorably served his country in the US Army during World War II. Later he worked for the Brooklyn Navy Ship Yard and retired from the US Postal Service. MEMBERSHIPS: He was a member of Our Lady of Pity in Staten Island, NY. SURVIVORS: America is survived by his spouse, Filomena Tusi Treglia; three sons, Richard and his wife Janice of East Rockaway, NY, Arthur and his wife Maria of East Rockaway, NY, and Anthony and his wife Teresa of Upper Nazareth Twp., one daughter, Jeanie Treglia of Lyncroft NJ; one sister Alice Marghella of Long Island, NY; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Arthur, and a sister Anna. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18th in Holy Family Catholic Church, West Center St and Forest Dr, Nazareth. Entombment to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Viewings will be held from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16th, and 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17th in the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. There will be no viewing on Friday.
