Obituary

Amy Lynn Richline,51, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025. She was born on November 2,1973, in Phillipsburg, NJ, the daughter of Carol Richline of Nazareth.

Amy grew up in Stewartsville, NJ and attended Phillipsburg High School. She later became a self-employed businesswoman for many years.

She was a sports enthusiast, and her favorite football team was the Indianapolis Colts. She was also a car enthusiast and loved the open-air experience of riding around in her jeep with the roof off. Amy thrived in the summertime and liked to plan cookouts with her family. She also enjoyed listening to the music of Alicia Keys and Drake.

She loved her fur babies, Mya, Sophia and Lobo.

Amy was never afraid to speak her mind. She was tough and independent but always had a soft spot for the underdog. She had natural beauty and an undeniable presence. If she loved you, you knew it, because she would always have your back.

Amy always looked forward to the joyful times in her life. She enjoyed and celebrated every holiday. Her most treasured holiday experiences included cooking Thanksgiving dinner for her family. Wind Creek Casino and Lido Key Beach in Sarasota were her happy places. But her happiest and most joyful place was being around her children and grandson. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and was an immeasurable presence in their lives.

In addition to her mother, she leaves behind and will be deeply missed by her sons, Anthony Mathis (Diane) of Pennsauken, NJ, and Aaron Mathis (Breanna) of Portales, NM; a daughter, Nina Richline of Allentown; and her cherished grandson, Demetrius.

Services will be held privately with the family.
