Angelica Grace (Rampulla) Ventin, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2021, at the amazing age of 104 years young. Born on South St. in Nazareth, she was one of seven children of the late Andrea "Andrew" Santo Rampulla and Rosa (Prinzi) Rampulla. Angelica was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth where she married her late husband, Ettore "Andy" Ventin.
A lifelong resident of Nazareth, Angelica worked at Nicholas's Lunchroom on Main St. until her husband returned home from WWII. After raising her sons, the late John Ventin and Steven Ventin, she continued to work as a seamstress for various blouse mills until her retirement.
Angelica was a wonderful wife, mother and nonna (grandmother). She loved nothing more than spending time with and taking care of her family. She will be remembered fondly by all who loved her.
Angelica leaves behind her son Steven Ventin of Herford, AZ; sister Rose Gobbi of Phillipsburg, NJ; daughter-in-law Janet Ventin of Nazareth; as well as 3 grandsons, John Ventin and wife Kim, Michael Ventin and wife Gail, and Matthew Ventin and wife Kathy; 5 great-grandchildren, Angela Gazzano and husband Michael, Adam Ventin and wife Danielle, Amanda Ventin, Jacquelyn Ventin, and Gabrielle Ventin; and 6 great-great-grandchildren, Giuliana and Nicolas Gazzano, Gabriella Garcia-Sclafani, Nicco and Dominic Ventin, and Isabella Drummond.
Along with her parents, husband and son, she was predeceased by her brother, Vincenzo "James" Rampulla; and sisters, Mary Albani, Carrie Stranzel, Vincenza "Winnie" Schlamb and Saddie Davis.
A public Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11 am in Holy Family Catholic Church, 23 Forest Dr., Nazareth. Entombment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Because of COVID restrictions, a viewing will be held privately with the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
