Anna Mae Kessler, 90, formerly of Plainfield Township, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Chester G. Kessler, who died June 30, 1992. Born April 3, 1925 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Flora Rasley Frable. Earlier in life, Anna Mae worked for Magnetic Windings in Easton. She was last employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Gaye Sportswear in Wind Gap, where she worked for over 20 years, retiring in 1963. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wind Gap, the Bangor VFW Auxiliary and UNITE. Anna Mae is survived by her children, Richard A. Kessler and his wife Linda of Mt. Bethel Twp; Chester G. Kessler, Jr., of Wind Gap; Phyllis Smith of Forks Twp.; and Laverne Everett and her husband Barry of Easton. Also surviving is her brother Menton Frable and his wife Caroline of Pittsburgh, CA, 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Harvey and Woodrow Frable, and her sisters, Clara Winkler, Estella Muth and Rosa Randall. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Wind Gap Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, Wind Gap, PA.
