Anna C. Uhler, 95 of Upper Nazareth Twp. died Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She is the wife of late Wilbert S. Uhler who died in 2006. She was born in Nazareth on December 28, 1923 the daughter of the late John H. and Grace (Correll) Lieberman. In addition to a homemaker, she worked at Kramer Hosiery and for the Pen Argyl School District as a lunch monitor, lunch/food prep staff at the Plainfield Elementary School. Anna was a member of Grace Lutheran Church- Belfast where she was the first female church council member, WELCA member and Sunday School/Bible School teacher. She was a member of Plainfield Twp. Lions Club, a former Girl Scout Leader – Belfast, volunteered at the Plainfield Fire Co. social hall events and Ladies Auxiliary, Nazareth LORA club, she quilted with her sister-in-law & mother-in-law. Anna also reported election results to the Morning Call from her local polling site.

children: Bradley (Brenda) of Nazareth, Dean (Donna Paulson) of Nazareth, Diane Johns (Fred) of Bethlehem, Judy Stancombe (David) of Wind Gap and Dennis (Viena) of Wind Gap; siblings: Kenneth Lieberman of Wind Gap and Hilda Kocher of Dover, DE; grandchildren: Brian, Michael, Timothy, Catharine, Aaron, Krista, Daniel, Christopher, Amy and Jeffrey; great grandchildren: Max, Claire, Arcadia, Bowen, Olen, Shaylee, Anya, Ivy, Joshua and Jaxon. Anna is predeceased by sister: Mae Trexler; brothers: Edward, John and Ray, Sr.  Lieberman

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call 10 to 11 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church - 5907 Sullivan Trail – Nazareth 18064, followed by the service at 11. The interment will conclude services at Belfast Union Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St, Nazareth.
