Anne M. Handley, 91, of Nazareth, formerly of Washington, NJ, passed away early Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton.
Born on August 21, 1925, in Beacon, New York, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Schnetzler O'Donnell.
Anne worked as a seamstress and was the owner and operator of CMS Dry Cleaning and Alterations in Nazareth, retiring in 2012. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to yard sales and over the years she had acquired a unique array of collectable elephants. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bath.
Anne is survived by two sons, James R. and his wife Judy, and John, and two daughters, Carol Richline and Theresa Malanga and her husband Steve. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a brother John "Jack" O'Donnell and a sister, Joan Johnan. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Daniel and Thomas, a granddaughter Jennifer, and her former husband James J. Handley.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass which will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ, 07882. A reception celebrating Anne's life will be held in the Community Room of the church immediately following mass. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, Nazareth, PA.
