Anton Schaffer, 78, of Wind Gap, passed away on January 13, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.  He was the husband of Barbara (Ostrander) Bray Schaffer; together they shared 20 years of marriage.

Born April 15, 1943 in Hungary, he was a son of the late Anton and Anna Schaffer.

Before retiring, Anton was employed by Hoffmann- LaRoche Inc. in the vitamin production department.  He was a quiet man and enjoyed the simple things in life especially fishing and working in his yard.

Along with his wife Barbara, he is survived by sons; John, Ed, Bob and TJ Schaffer and stepsons; Scott, Randy and Larry Bray, as well as his brother Otto Schaffer.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, January 19 from 2-4 PM in the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap. A Funeral Service will follow at 4 PM. Burial will be private with the family.
