Arlean Mae (Bonney) Pritchard, age 90, resident of Moravian Hall Square, formerly of Pen Argyl, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 at Moravian Hall Square, Nazareth.  Born February 18, 1932, in Pen Argyl, she was a daughter of the late Norman C. and Alma B. (Hockin) Bonney and stepdaughter of the late Norma I. (Miller)

She was predeceased by her husband Rev. Leland K. Pritchard, who passed away in 1987.

Arlean graduated from Pen Argyl High School in 1950, and East Stroudsburg State Teachers College in 1954, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  Subsequently, she taught in several school districts including, Pennsburg, Pen Argyl, Bethlehem, Minersville, and Tamaqua until retirement in 1993.

Throughout her life, Arlean had been a member of many churches where her husband Leland had been a pastor including Bethel Methodist Church, Temple Methodist Church, Minersville United Methodist, Tamaqua First United Methodist, and Shamokin First United Methodist. Upon retiring and returning to Pen Argyl, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and St. Peter's Lutheran Church.  Her church work included serving on many mission committees, singing in choirs, playing piano, and playing the organ.

With an ongoing level of commitment Arlean had been a member of several community and professional organizations including, PSEA, PSERS, PA Assoc. of School Retirees, West Penn Lioness Club and the Tamaqua Oder of the Eastern Star, Pilgrim Chapter #137.

Arlean will be lovingly remembered and missed her only child, daughter Lois Anne (Pritchard) Mann and husband John E.; grandsons Christopher J. Mann and wife Yuting Liao, and Tyler A. Mann and fiancée Marissa Moyer.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sister-in-law, Dorinda K. Pritchard.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing held 10-11 am, Thursday, July 14 in St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1422 Church Rd, Pen Argyl, PA 18072.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am, in the church, with Pastor Chris Druckenmiller presiding.  Arlean will be laid to rest in Wind Gap Cemetery, Pen Argyl.
