Arlyn I. Detweiler, 86, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Donald R. Detweiler.

Born December 18, 1932 in Providence, NY, she was a daughter of the late Mortimer and Irene Chase Purdy.

Arlyn attended Nazareth High School and later worked at Martin Guitar in the string department before retiring.

Arlyn is survived by her children, Joyce Mann and her husband George, David and his wife Donna, Dean and his wife Candi, Judy and her husband Andrew, and Dale and his wife Roberta; sister, Janice Honeycutt and her husband Bill; brother, Boyd Purdy; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held in Forks Cemetery, Stockertown. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St, Nazareth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Arlyn's name may be offered to Lehigh Valley Hospice, Ste 101, 2166 S 12th St., Allentown, PA 18103.
