Barbara S. Bishop, 85, formerly of Boiling Springs, SC and most recently residing in Bethlehem, PA passed away Thursday evening, November 1 ^st , 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown, PA. She was the widow of William F. Bishop.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Born in Union, SC on April 20 ^th 1933, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Sprouse and Alma Price Sprouse Wix.

Barbara enjoyed gardening and crafts and spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana and dear sister who will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by her son Frank Bishop and his wife Robbie of Gaffney, SC, daughter Debra Burnette and her husband Wayne of Nazareth, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lee Snell and her husband James of Lexington, SC and Loree Bishop of Spartanburg, SC, Will Burnette and Harrison Burnette of Nazareth, PA, sisters; Margaret Wade and Judy Bobo of Union, SC. She was predeceased by four brothers: Marvin Earl Sprouse, Donald Sprouse, J. W. Sprouse and Robert Gordon Sprouse Sr. and one sister Dorothy Faulks.

The funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, November 6 ^th at the Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs, SC.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
