Barbara N. Dupsick, 86, of Nazareth, passed away early Saturday morning, February 18, 2017, at Alexandria Manor, Nazareth. She was the loving wife of Richard Dupsick who passed away in 1998.

Born on August 1, 1930 in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Beatrice Shingler.

Barbara was a graduate of Nazareth High School and later worked at the State Welfare Office, in Easton, before her retirement. Barbara enjoyed listening to music and watching football on television. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Nazareth; the church in which she and Richard were married.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Karen Cougle and her husband Louis of Lower Nazareth, one grandson Michael Cougle and his wife Angela of East Stroudsburg and two great grandchildren Kyle and Karley Cougle, as well as one sister Delores Bigley of Upper Nazareth.

Along with her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Kathy Dupsick and brothers Donald Shingler and Wayne Shingler.

The family would like to thank Joy Schwentner, a trusted friend and loving caregiver during Barbara's illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 10-11 am in St. John's United Church of Christ, 183 South Broad St., Nazareth. The funeral service will begin at 11 am with Rev. Jeffrey Brinks presiding. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.

Memorials in Barbara's memory may be offered to St. Luke's Hospice House, 2455 Black River Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
