Barbara M. Kutz, 86, of Belfast, passed away peacefully at Moravian Hall Square on Monday, October 30, 2023. Born at home on May 18, 1937 in Forks Township, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Sr. and Mary Margaret "Peg" (Butz) Kolb. She was a 1955 graduate of Pen Argyl Area High School.

Barb was employed for over 25 years in the operations center of Lafayette Ambassador/Fulton Bank. She previously worked as a seamstress at Valerie Fashions in Wind Gap. For many years, she worked part-time as a cook at Hartman's II Family Restaurant in Belfast. Barb was a member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Wind Gap. She was an avid reader and liked word search puzzles. She enjoyed attending her granddaughters' many concerts and sporting events throughout the years.

Barb is survived by her son, Randy E Fogel and his wife Kathy A. of Belfast; granddaughters Brandi A. Fogel of Belfast and Krysta A. Fogel and her husband Hans Hibbard of Mt Airy, Philadelphia; siblings Roy Kolb of Belfast, with whom she resided, Edward (Pennie) Kolb of Bangor, Joyce (Harold) Pritchard of Wind Gap and Robin (Bryan) Repsher of Belfast. She was predeceased by a brother Melvin Kolb Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, November 3, from 10-11am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap. A funeral service, with Pastor Jean Huber officiating, will begin at 11am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Belfast Union Cemetery.
