Barbara Roth, 80, of Nazareth, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016, with her loving family by her side, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Roth, and together they shared 46 years of marriage at the time of his passing in January, 2002.

Born on December 24, 1935 in Belfast, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Werkheiser Cressman.

Barbara graduated from Nazareth High School in 1953. Over the years she became an avid Bingo player and bowler. She taught junior bowling at both the YMCA and Blue Valley Lanes. She was a big fan of Duke Basketball and the Philadelphia Phillies. She loved gardening and animals as well as sitting on her patio watching the birds at her bird feeders.

She was a member of Forks United Church of Christ in Stockertown, where she was very involved with the rummage sales.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Debra Roth of Nazareth, Sandra Fehnel and her husband Brett of Plainfield Twp., Michael Roth and his wife Jocelyn Hauser of Trumbull, CT. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren; Abbey and Alicia Fehnel, and Delaney and Camdyn Roth.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 5, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Forks United Church of Christ, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA 18083. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the church, with the Rev. Robert Gutekunst officiating. Burial will follow in Forks Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth.
