Beryl Emma Young, 78, of Forks Township, passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 5, 2014 in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Robert R. Young Sr. who died in 2003. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage, prior to his passing. Born: April 22, 1936, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Ruth E. (Frace) Santee. Personal: Beryl was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1954. She worked in the Sears and Roebuck Store and later was employed by the Easton Area School District as a bus driver. She loved driving bus #8 for over 25 years. A dedicated wife and mother, Beryl worked hard for the benefit of her loved ones. As a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and canning but most of all, she was able to provide a loving home for her family. She always looked forward to the annual Roosevelt School Reunion where she shared good times with former classmates. Memberships: She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Tatamy. Survivors: A son, Robert R. Jr. and his wife Barbara of Forks Township, 2 daughters Cheryl Armbrust of College Hill, and Ruth Ann Young Cookson and her husband Paul of Forks Township; a grandson, John-Robert Terraciano; 3 "furry" grandchildren, Buddy, Lexie and Bentley; 2 brothers, her twin Bruce Santee and Gordon Santee, both of Palmer Township and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 1 sister, Alberta Fehnel, 1 brother Dale Santee and son in-law Andreas "Andy" Armbrust. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to call, Monday, September 8 from 6-8pm in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth and Tuesday, September 9, from 10-11am in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 4th and Broad St., Tatamy with funeral services to follow at 11am in the church. Burial will be in Ardnt's Cemetery.
