Betty Mae Berhel, 92 of Bushkill Township, passed away peacefully Monday, November 20, 2023 at Lehigh Vally Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown. Born at home on October 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph George and Mae T. (Wagner) Berhel.

Betty attended high school but it became her life's long ambition to carry out the legacy, of working the family farm and raising goats.  Hard work, determination and perseverance were always evident in everything she did.

Her faith was reflected in her church membership.  She was a long-time member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Plainfield Township.

Betty is survived by sister in-law, Vivian Berhel and nephew, Quintus Berhel Jr., in addition to several other nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Quintus Berhel Sr. and Robert Berhel.

Per her request, a private graveside service will be held.  Betty will be buried alongside her parents in Plainfield Cemetery.
