Obituary

Betty M. Christman, 89 of Nazareth, left her earthly life to rest in the loving arms of Jesus on Monday afternoon February 24, 2025, surrounded by her family.  She was the loving mother of Frank Lubisky (Amanda) of Meadow Brook, Betty Linko (Mark) of Harleysville and Debra Treon (Steven) of Nazareth. Born and raised in Philadelphia, one of ten children, she was a daughter of the late Fredrick W. and Anna C. Vogt. Betty was an accountant most of her life and graduated from Olney High School. She also attended night classes at Temple University while raising her family.  After Betty retired, she spent 22 years in Florida living in the Villages where she was an avid tennis player, active with bowling leagues while playing golf and volunteering at the local hospital.

Betty loved to sing and spent many years active in the church choir, you could often find Betty and her friends dancing while enjoying social events, trips, and hosting dinner parties for her friend in both Florida and Pa. She was a wealth of knowledge and lent her support to family and friends preparing taxes and helping them with other financial planning.  She loved working in her gardens and taking care of her home

Betty's greatest love was her family and the legacy she created with her 3 children, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.  She as was so blessed and so loved.  Betty is also survived by her 2 brothers, Henry (Garon) Vogt and Karl (Judy) Vogt.  Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by her late husband Francis J. Lubisky; her son Charles E. Lubisky; her son-in-law Michael J. Linko, and her 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 7th at 10:00 am for visitation and at 11:00 am for her Celebration of Life Service at Grace Church Bethlehem.  You're welcome to wear purple or blue as we honor Betty's beautiful life.
