Betty J. Dathe, 85, of Tatamy, passed away on November 11, 2015 in the Easton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert Dathe, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2007. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Roy Buss, who died in 1970. Born September 15, 1930 in Tatamy, she was the daughter of the late Lovine and Pauline Gold Tenges. Betty was employed for many years as a medical secretary for several Easton doctors. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Tatamy. Betty will be greatly missed by her many friends and neighbors in and around the Tatamy area. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her brother, Donald Tenges. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, November 16, 2015, at 1:30 pm at Forks Cemetery, Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA, with the Rev. Darlene Blocker officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth.
