Betty J. Pritchard, a lifelong resident of Palmer Township, who was born on October 10, 1931, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2021. She was the wife of Clark D. Pritchard who died on January 24, 2008; they were married almost 60 years prior to his passing.

Betty enjoyed hospitality, gardening, sewing and baking Christmas cookies. But mostly she loved holiday meals with all of her family packed into her home. She was a Godly woman who set an example for her family and prayed for them daily.

She is survived by her children; Brenda Mercuri and husband Anthony, Cyndy Hein and Mark Pritchard and wife Sabrinia; eight loving grandchildren and 17 perfect great grandchildren who filled her life with love and joy. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Hartzell and 14 nieces and nephews.

Betty was predeceased by her parents; Elmer and Myrtle Waltz, brother; Floyd Waltz and sisters; Myrtle Chrones and Marie Atkinson as well as nephews; Ronald Waltz, Barry Hartzell, Keith Pritchard, Edward Pritchard and son-in-law Gary Hein.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 10-11AM in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap where the Funeral Service will follow at 11AM. Betty will be laid to rest in Wind Gap Cemetery.
