Betty Grace Schaffer, 79, formerly of Bangor, passed away Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Gracedale Nursing Home.

Born June 9, 1937, in Bath, she was a daughter of the late Paul Schaffer and Miriam Florey Schaffer.

Betty is survived by two brothers, Richard and Raymond Schaffer, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Marie Wessman, Dorothy Pysher and Pauline Thompson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service which will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015, at 11:00 am, at the Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl, with the Rev. Dr. Dean D. Frey officiating. There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 202 West Street, Wind Gap.
