Beulah A. Glasser, 101, formerly of Nazareth, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Westminster Village in Allentown. She was the wife of Ralph C. Glasser; together they celebrated 62 years of marriage at the time of his death in 1997. BORN: Born on October 29, 1912 in Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Amanda Getz Andrew. PERSONAL: Beulah was employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Blue Valley Sportswear in Pen Argyl, and also worked as a nurse at Gracedale. She later retired from Lincoln Textiles after 22 years of service. She was an avid flower gardener, and earlier in life had a passion for riding horses. MEMBERSHIPS: She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wind Gap where she taught Sunday School. SURVIVORS: Beulah is survived by two daughters, Barbara Neagley and her husband Dr. Ross Neagley of Charleston, SC, and Gayle Freyman and her husband Rodney of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters. SERVICES: A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, July 7 in the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C. 202 West St., Wind Gap. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Monday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Dean D. Frey presiding. Burial will follow in Wind Gap Cemetery.
