Brett Allen Fehnel, 53, of Plainfield Township, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, July 19, 2016, at the Easton Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Sandra Roth Fehnel with whom he shared 25 years of marriage this past October. Born April 29, 1963, in Allentown, he was the son of Delbert and Judith Daniels Fehnel of Tatamy.

Brett graduated from Nazareth High School with the Class of 1981. For many years he worked for Equipto in Tatamy, and more recently he worked for Lehigh Valley Site Contractors. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool with the league at the Jacksonian Club in Nazareth. An avid fisherman, he loved being outdoors and also found great pleasure in sitting on the deck watching and feeding the birds and chipmunks.

In addition to his parents and wife, Brett is survived by his loving daughters, Alicia A. Fehnel and Abbey L. Fehnel, both of Plainfield Township. Also surviving is his sister, Lynn Fehnel, of Tatamy.

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 – 11 am on Saturday, July 23, at Forks United Church of Christ, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, where funeral services will begin at 11 am with the Rev. Heather Kurtz officiating. Burial will follow in Forks Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA.
