Bruce J. Santee, 82, of Palmer Township, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 20, 2018, in Easton Hospital. Born April 22, 1936 in Easton, he was a son of the late Robert and Ruth Frace Santee.
Bruce attended Wilson High School and later worked for Keystone Foods. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Tatamy and the Forks of the Delaware Bottle Club. Bruce could always be found tinkering in his yard, whether it be mowing his well-manicured lawn, tending to his chickens, or spending time with his Great Danes. Bruce had a strong sense of family and cherished the time spent with them.
Bruce is survived by nieces and nephews, Robert & Pamela Fehnel, Neal & Terry Fehnel, Susan Lueckenbach, Stephen & Connie Santee, Sharon & James DeKorte, Robert & Janine Santee, Scott & Toni Santee, Becky & Robert Stocker, Cindy & Pat Rizzolino, Robert & Barbara Young, Cheryl Armbrust, and Ruth Ann & Paul Cookson; great-nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Carole Santee. He was predeceased by his sister Alberta Fehnel; his twin sister, Beryl Young; and brothers, Gordon Santee and Dale Santee.
Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday evening, June 25, from 6 to 8 pm, and Tuesday morning, June 26 from 10 to 11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Funeral services will follow at 11 am on Tuesday in the funeral home. Bruce will be laid to rest in Arndt's Cemetery, Forks Township.
