Calvin C. Fries, 75, of Nazareth, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hecktown Oaks.  He was the loving husband of Linda (Hartzell) Fries who passed away on April 5, 2020.  Together they celebrated 51 years of marriage prior to her death.

Born August 28, 1949 in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Elwood and Ruth (Rogers) Fries.

Calvin graduated from Nazareth High School, Class of 1967 and Churchman's Business School.  He was employed by Cooper Energy for 23 years and later as a production manager at Zeus Industrial Products for more than 23 years prior to his retirement.  He enjoyed the outdoors fishing on his boat and teaching everyone the secrets of how to catch a big fish. He was also an avid bowler and  a member of leagues at Warren Lanes, Bar-Don Lanes and Blue Valley Lanes. He loved his family and was always there for anyone who needed him. He was a loving father and grandfather and always looked forward to spending time with his family.

Calvin is survived by his daughter Tiffany Miller and son Stephen Fries, both of Nazareth; grandchildren Zachary Burger, Joseph Burger, Jared Fries, Natalie Fries, Avery Miller and Bryce Miller as well as sister Joan Boyer and brothers Herbert Fries and David Fries.

Along with his parents and wife Linda, Calvin was predeceased by his brothers Roger Fries and John Fries and sister Joyce Kemmerer.

Graveside services for both Calvin and Linda will be held at Hope Cemetery, Hecktown on March 27, 2025 at 2 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow for family and close friends.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Calvin's name may be made to the AmericanHeart Association, https://www.heart.org
