Carl F. Beil, Jr., 77, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully at home on July 12, 2018. Born December 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Carl F. Beil, Sr. and Dorothy (Graver) Beil.

Mr. Beil was a 1960 graduate of Pen Argyl High School. He was married to his sweetheart, LaRue (Eberts) Beil. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage and shared three children, Carla Swigart of Nazareth, Scott Beil of Bethlehem, and Corey Beil of Nazareth.

Mr. Beil served our nation in the U.S. Army from 1960 – 1963, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Prior to his retirement, Carl was employed for over thirty years as a garment mill mechanic at Valerie Fashions in Wind Gap and for several years at A & H Sportswear in Nazareth.

Mr. Beil was a lifelong member of the Schoeneck Moravian Church in Nazareth where he served faithfully on the Diener Corp, the Board of Trustees, and the church's Property Committee. Carl formerly served as Commander, President, and board member of the Wind Gap Legion, Post #746.

He is survived by his loving family, wife, LaRue; his daughter, Carla and son-in-law, Greg; his son, Scott and daughter-in-law, Marie; his son, Corey and daughter-in-law, Jill; five beloved grandsons, Joshua Beil, Connor Swigart, Galin Swigart, Collin Beil, and Harrison Beil.

A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 20, in Schoeneck Moravian Church's God's Acre, corner of W. Beil Ave. and Bushkill Center Rd., Nazareth. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
