Carol Jean Baker, 86, of Nazareth, passed away at home on Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was the wife of the late Walter I. Baker who died in July, 1994. Born on December 25, 1928, in Hazleton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Irene Michel Nagel. Carol is survived by two sons, Paul Baker of Lopatcong, NJ, and Todd Baker and his wife Sarah of Nazareth, with whom she resided. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan, Jonathan, Jillian and Jennifer and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frederick Nagel. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, Nazareth. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
