Carolyn J. Marlatt, 94, of Wind Gap, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 at St. Luke's – Anderson Campus. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Marlatt, who died in 1984.

Born in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle (Glasser) Broad. Carolyn worked at her family's grocery store, Broad's Market, in Wind Gap for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wind Gap.

Survivors: Daughters, Sarah Beal and her husband William, Nancy Lilly and her husband Clyde and Susan Mladosich, all of Wind Gap; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Carolyn was preceded in death by sisters Thelma Smith and Virginia Morrow and a great-grandson Chase Mladosich.

Services will be private at the family's request. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schmidt Funeral Home of Wind Gap.
