Catherine Mccollin's Obituary
Catherine McCollin, 95, formerly of Wind Gap, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Brookmont Healthcare Center, in Effort.
B
orn in Williamsport, on July 23, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Summers Knittle. Catherine spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed walking, making friends, watching classic movies, reading, and being taught the word of God.
Catherine is survived by two sons, Chuck McCollin and his wife Delisa, and Ed McCollin and his wife Judy; two daughters, Cathy Repsher and Liz Lukanowski; one brother, James Knittle; grandchildren, Timothy Lukanowski and his fiancée Lauren Sims, Matthew Lukanowski, Nathan McCollin and his wife Emily, Tanya Winter and her husband Vance, and Nicole Edwards and her husband Joey; great-grandchildren, William, Ethan, Jackson, Clara, Jesse, Natalie, Katelyn, and Brady; niece, Jane Cupp; nephew, James David Knittle; and her best friend, Jennie Snyder.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap.
