Claire J. Fuls, 80, formerly of Nazareth and Lower Mount Bethel, passed away Tuesday June 18, 2013 in HCR Manor Care, Palmer Township. BORN: Born January 10, 1933 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Lena Laubach Newhard. She was the wife of Carl Fuls who passed away February 21, 1973. PERSONAL: Claire worked in various blouse mills before retiring. She was an avid bingo player, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. MEMBERSHIPS: She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Martins Creek and UNITE. SURVIVORS: Claire is survived by two sons, Carl R. and his companion Connie Cook of Swiftwater, and Kevin W. and his wife Karen of Robesonia; three daughters, Vanessa Woltemate and her husband William of Northampton, Melanie Kroboth and her husband Robert of Plainfield Township, and Alice Frable and her husband Jeffrey of Saylorsburg; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Werkheiser of Wilson, Betty Stocker of Palmer Township, and Victoria Nolf of Tatamy; and five brothers, Richard of Northampton, Paul of Plainfield Township, Jerry of Easton, Charles of Tatamy, and Glenn of FL. She was predeceased by one sister, Rosabelle Shafer. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Relatives and friends are invited to call 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home and 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, Martins Creek.
