Obituary

Clarence D. "Bud" Wagner, Sr., 88, of Glendon, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital – Anderson Campus. He was the husband of the late Georgiene (Herritt) Wagner, who died in 2009.

Born in Wilson Borough, Bud was a son of the late Marshall Wagner, Sr. and Julia (Hasko) Wagner. He attended Wilson High School and was an all-around athlete, participating in football, basketball and baseball. Bud was a private landscaper and tree contractor, owning and operating Wagner's Landscaping for more than 40 years.

Bud loved camping and gardening, tending to his fishpond in the back yard and liked to play pool. He also played on the West Easton Fire House Softball team. Most of all – Bud was a dedicated and loving family man who would do anything for his family.

Survivors: Children, Gwen Munz of Emmaus, Davene Ann Truss of Easton, Clarence D. "Bud" Wagner, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Stroudsburg, Jefferey Wagner and his wife Lisa of Glendon, Marsha Rohn and her husband David of Pen Argyl; Siblings, Joan Hart, Phyllis Bouger, Alma Young, Julia Hendershot, Marshall Wagner, Jr., Paul Wagner; 14 grandchildren, Michael W. Smith, David Jason Wagner, Greg Cartagena, Krystal Cartagena, Breanna Truss, Ricky Truss, Lee Truss, Jennifer Turdo, Lindsey Moyer, William Wagner, Katrina Wagner, Megan Wagner, Laura Hill and Stacy Rohn; 38 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Bud was preceded in death by a sister Ellen Van Horn.

Services: Will be private at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC in Nazareth.
