Obituary

Craig E. Ott, 57 of Tatamy, was stricken at home and passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 22, 2023.  Born May 18, 1966, in Easton, he was a son of Eleanor Heller Ott and the late Clyde Ott.

A graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1984, he was employed for over 20 years as a welder with Keystone Fabricators of Bethlehem. Craig was always interested in anything with a motor or engine. He excelled at engine mechanics and could often be found in his garage working. Many times friends and the neighborhood children would go to Craig to fix their bicycles or anything else in need of repair. He also enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid kayaker, snowmobiler, and 4 wheeler.  When he wasn't enjoying outside activities, or working in his garage, he could be found watching motor sports or car racing on TV.  Craig was his own man, and although he was quiet and kept to himself, he was known for having a wonderful sense of humor.

In addition to his mother, Ellie, he is survived by his only child, son Austin Ott Winter and a brother, Randy Ott.

A Private graveside service, with Pastor Chris Druckenmiller, will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be held at Forks Cemetery, Stockertown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
