Dennis M. Barket, 63, of Nazareth, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus.  He was the beloved husband of Mary Truskolaski Barket, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Born on December 19, 1953, in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Michael and Helen Grol Barket.

A life-long resident of Nazareth and a graduate of Notre Dame HS and the University of Scranton, Dennis was an avid sports fan, especially of local basketball, always cheering on his home teams.  He also loved helping people hear with his business, Genesis Hearing Systems.  He will be fondly remembered for his lovable sense of humor.  Most of all, Dennis had a deep devotion and commitment to all of his family, especially for his daughter Jackie.
