Diane C. M. Allen- Stefanel, 70, of Plainfield Township, passed away on August 4, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg.

Born July 5, 1952 in Somerville, New Jersey, she was a daughter to the late Joseph Tychinski and Violet Grusetskie. She was a graduate of the Liberty High School class of 1977. Diane held many jobs in her early years. She was active in The Bethlehem Girls Club and was a consultant for both Tupperware and Avon. Diane had an extensive owl collection and enjoyed catching up with neighbors and friends, shopping at yard sales, and a good game of Pinochle.

Diane will be greatly missed by her husband, Lester Stefanel; son Jason M. Allen; siblings Linda Mills and Steven Tychinski; ex-daughter- in- law Tara; grandson Corey B. Allen, his wife Meagan and their newly born son Benjamin; and granddaughter Meg A. Allen. Step-son Roger Savoia; step-grandchildren Stephanie DelPolito, Travis Savoia, and Kristina Peary; step-great-grandchildren Lily, Lana, Michael, Joseph, Charles, Julianna, and Sophia; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her husband Roger B. Allen and stepdaughter Marianina Allen.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 12, from 5-9 pm at the Lookout Fire Co., 123  S. Main St., Pen Argyl. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate on her behalf to the Humane Society of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap.
