Donald Gordon, 78, of Upper Nazareth Twp., passed away early Tuesday morning, March 22, 2016, at Alexandria Manor in Nazareth.  He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Quinter Gordon, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born September 14, 1937, in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late George L. and Ella Paul Gordon.

Don was employed for many years as a machinist at Manganese Steel Forge in Easton. In his spare time, he enjoyed building all types of models, and had a special interest in trains and building train displays. He also loved to draw and go fishing. He was a former member of the Easton Exchange Club.

Along with his beloved wife Kathleen, Don is survived by his daughter, Donna Sadawski and her husband Ron of Palmer Township. Also surviving is a granddaughter, Sara Eichner and her husband Robert of Easton; two great-grandchildren, Brynn and Emily Eichner; and a brother Robert Gordon and his wife Wanda of East Stroudsburg. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, George Gordon, and two sisters, Elsie Paul and Virginia McCarthy

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 24, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 in the funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph Grasser presiding. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.
