Doris Olson, 85, of Nazareth passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, September 6, 2018 in her home. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Olson who passed away on October 25, 1988.

Doris was born on April 19, 1933 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to the late William F. and Charlotte Ressler Plog. She was employed as a floor worker for Pioneer Sportswear prior to retiring in 1986. She was a member of UNITE, the ladies garment workers union.

Doris is survived by 3 sons; Robert and his wife Christine of Upper Mt. Bethel, Jeffrey and his wife Cindy of Rosepine, LA, and Gary and his companion Brenda Morton of Erie; 6 Grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren and 6 Great great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Doris was predeceased by her son Glenn in 1997.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 10-11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. A funeral service will follow at 11 am with Pastor Darlene Blocker presiding. Doris will be laid to rest in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township.
