Dorothea St. Germain, 95, of Nazareth, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Alexandria Manor.

Born September 16, 1924 in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Peter Sr. and Eva May Francis Heckman.

Dorothea was a graduate of Nazareth High School Class of 1942. She was employed at the Nazareth Steel Fabricators, the original Fritos plant, various banking institutions, and along with her late husband Ralph, owned and operated Fisher's Diner in Wind Gap for 17 years. Dorothea retired to Texas in 1984 and later returned to Nazareth in 2017.

She is survived by one son, Barry L. Fisher; one daughter, Sandra L. Butler, two granddaughters; and seven great grandchildren. Dorothea was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph Fisher; her second husband, William St. Germain; three brothers; and two sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, December 16 from 10 - 11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth. Funeral services will follow at 11 am in the funeral home. Dorothea will be laid to rest in Plainfield Cemetery.
