Dorothy V. Duby, 94, of Nazareth, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Jennie (Troxell) and Raymond J. Christman, Sr., and the wife of the late Norman E. Duby.

Dottie was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, graduated from Nazareth High School in 1946, and St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in 1950.  She served in the United States Navy Nurse Corps during the Korean War.  She was employed by Northampton County, Gracedale Nursing Home for 30 years, retiring in 1995 as Clinical Director.

She is survived by four daughters, Sue (Dr. Johnnie) Willis, Debra Steward, Cindy (Russell) Harding, and Laurie (Donald) Forrer; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sisters, Elaine Christman and Evelyn Shankweiler; brothers, Edward Christman Sr. and Raymond Christman Jr.; and daughter, Jennifer Duby.

Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth is in charge of arrangements, and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
