Dorothy A. Garr's Obituary
Dorothy A. Garr, 101 years young, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Gracedale. She formerly lived at Atria Assisted Living in Bethlehem. Born March 4, 1917 in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Stella Kulp and the late William Koch. She was married to Wesley A. Garr who died earlier.
Dorothy graduated from Nazareth Area High School and was a member of the Nazareth Moravian Church. She was a homemaker for most of her life.
She is survived by son, Richard and his wife Mary of Lower Nazareth Twp.; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is predeceased by a son, Wesley R. Garr; grandson, Michael A. Garr; brother, Sterling Koch; and sister, Mae Manwiller.
Private services and burial are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dorothy's name may be made to the Nazareth Moravian Church, 10 S. Main St., Nazareth, PA 18064.
