Dorothy A. Koach, 78, of Wind Gap, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospital – Monroe Campus. She and her husband, Robert G. Koach, shared more than 50 years of marriage.

Born in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Lillian (Frey) Heckman. Dorothy worked in the garment industry as a floor worker for many years, most recently at Majestics before retiring. She was of the Catholic faith. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards and BINGO, roller skating, dancing and bowling in her younger years.

Survivors: Her loving husband, Bob; siblings, Dorothea Blakeslee, Ronnie Heckman, Terry Heckman, Eddie Heckman and Marlene Sentkewitz; many nieces and nephews and their families. Dorothy was preceded in death by siblings Manfred Heckman, Marty Heckman, Bobby Heckman and Loretta Setzer.

Services: A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West Street, Wind Gap. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
