Eileen Emily Detweiler, 88, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025.   Eileen was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Robert Martin Detweiler.

Eileen was born in Nazareth, PA on October 23, 1936, daughter of the late Reverend Laurence and Beatrice (Rundle) Young.

Eileen loved spending time with family and friends, painting, baking, crocheting, watching Phillies baseball, and enjoying the outdoors.

Many of her most cherished moments were spent with her eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who knew her as Nimi.  She loved to tell them stories, sing songs, and teach them how to paint and bake.

Eileen is survived by her children, Steve Detweiler (Catherine) of Louisville, KY, Tom Detweiler (Donna) of Nazareth, PA, Diane Detweiler (Rob Schilling) of Coopersburg, PA, and Dan Detweiler (Kerri) of Lenhartsville, PA; her brother, Raymond Young (Beverly) of Jeffersonville, IN; her grandchildren, Eric Detweiler (Megan Moss), Emily Detweiler, Trezah Detweiler, and Lyndsey Detweiler; and great-grandchildren Emma Cimino and Jackson Detweiler.

Eileen was predeceased by her grandson, Shawn Detweiler and her great-granddaughter, Skylar Detweiler.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29 at Belfast Union Cemetery, 474 Belfast Road in Belfast.
