Elizabeth G. "Betty" Granda, 88, of Nazareth passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus.

Born on May 15, 1929 in Nazareth, she was one of eleven children born to the late Anthony and Elizabeth Deutsch Zopf.  She was the beloved wife of Marvin Granda Sr. with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2002.

Betty was employed by the former Dixie Cup Company, for 36 years, until retirement.  She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Golden Agers.  Betty enjoyed playing bingo and valued memorable times spent with her many friends and family.

Betty is survived by 2 daughters, Cindy Strobl and her husband Carl and Connie Granda with whom she resided; 1 son Marvin "Skeeter" Granda Jr. and his wife Jennifer; 5 grandchildren, Carl Strobl and his partner Dana Hilbert, Jenna Ziegler and her husband Brent, Matthew Hickswa and his wife Kim, Nicole Hodges and her husband Clint, and Corey Koch and his wife Emily; 6 great grandchildren, Paityn, Kylie, CJ, Zachary, Caleb and Jackson.  She was predeceased by 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:00 am in Holy Family Catholic Church, 23 Forest Drive, Nazareth, PA 18064.  A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:00 am in the church.  Following mass, Betty will be laid to rest in Holy Family Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Holy Family School, 17 North Convent Ave, Nazareth, PA 18064 or to the church.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
