Ervin W. "Ernie" Pintarich, 77, of Nazareth, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 24, 2016.  He was the loving husband of Janice Miller Pintarich, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.

Born April 9, 1939, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles Frantz, Sr. and Ethel Pintarich Frantz.

Ernie worked as a Machine Operator for Kraemer Textiles in Nazareth, from where he retired.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his dogs, Trouble and Bella.

He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth.

Along with his beloved wife Janice, Ernie is survived by twin sons, Joseph Pintarich and his wife Kim of Lower Nazareth Twp., and Stephen Pintarich and his wife Bonnie of Nazareth. Also surviving are two grandsons, Justin Pintarich of Bath and Brayden Woodering of Lower Nazareth Twp.; a brother, Ronnie Frantz and his wife Pam; two sisters, Gloria Koch and her husband William, and Sandra Mast, all of Bethlehem; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Earl, Charles, Jr., and Ricky Frantz

Relative and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 29, 2016, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA 18064. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. David B. Schaeffer officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ernie's name may be offered to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 South Broad Street, Nazareth, PA, 18064.
