Evelyn E. Rader's Obituary
Evelyn E. Rader, 103, of Nazareth passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Moravian Hall Square.
Born on November 16, 1913 in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Jeanetta Kindt Metz. Her husband Marlyn A. Rader died earlier.

Evelyn graduated from Nazareth Area High School and Churchman's Business School. She was a homemaker for most of her life, and also worked for 10 years as a secretary for the Nazareth Area School District. Later in life she was a member of the Purple Hat Society. Evelyn was an avid reader and also enjoyed gardening.
She was a member of St. Luke's UCC in Belfast where she sang on the choir, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the Women's Guild.
Evelyn is survived by her only child, Geoffrey H. Rader of Reading. She was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Z. Metz.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. in St. Luke's UCC, 471 Belfast Road, Nazareth (Belfast), with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Evelyn will be laid to rest in Belfast Union Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
