Fae A. Snyder's Obituary
Fae A. Snyder, 67, of Allentown, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 in her home. She was the wife of Chris P. Snyder, together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Born March 31, 1951 in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of Mary Lou Bentz Smith of Easton and the late Harry Smith.
She was a graduate of Freedom High School, class of 1969 and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Cedar Crest College. Fae last worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for Southwest Florida Child Care. Known by all as a kind, positive and selfless person Fae instilled in her children and grandchildren her strong faith which she viewed as a gift from God. A talented seamstress, Fae loved to sew and quilt often donating her beautiful creations to the Wounded Veterans. Fae loved being a part of her grandchildren's lives and participated in many of their activities.
Along with her husband Chris and mother Mary Lou, she is survived by 2 daughters, Jessica Snyder of Allentown, and Sarah McRae and her husband James of Ft. Myers, FL; 2 sisters, Sherry Quist and her husband Bruce, and Jean Sampson and her husband Richard, all of Easton; as well as her loving grandchildren, Justin "JT" Miller, Travis and Bryson Brobst, Lydia Snyder and Jersey, Alissia and Justus McRae.
Friends are invited to call Friday evening, June 8, from 6-7:30 pm in the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. A Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private with the family.
