Francine Niemira, 72, of Upper Nazareth, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in St. Luke's Hospital- Anderson Campus. She was the loving wife of David Niemira. Together they shared 47 years of marriage.

Born October 31,1952 in Kearney, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Eugenia (Kowkowski) DePoulo.

Earlier in life, Francine worked as a receptionist for her husband's business. Most recently she was employed by Holy Family School where she ran the lunch program. Francine's participation in church activities was all encompassing. She was very involved with the annual church festival and coordinated volunteers to make pierogies. A devout and faithful member, of Holy Family Catholic Church, she volunteered and gave much of her time performing sacristan duties at the church. Through the years, Francine enjoyed the many connections she made both at church and bowling in a league at the Holy Family Club. Francine adored her daughter and her many canine companions.

Along with her husband David, Francine is survived by her only child, daughter Stefanie Niemira of Fountain Hill and sister Bonita Madden of Florida.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by 3 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, July 29 from 9:00-10:00 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth where a Prayer Service will begin at 10 am. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Francine's name may be offered to Holy Family Catholic Church, 410 W. Center St., Nazareth PA, 18064.
